Today’s hybrid IT environment has made it increasingly difficult for organizations to prevent cybersecurity attacks. From hacking to malware, ransomware and beyond, the fact that enterprise information assets are now distributed across multiple on-premises and cloud locations creates multiple points of vulnerability that magnify the challenges of keeping cybercriminals at bay.
That’s why our Cloud + Data Center Transformation solution area immediately embraced Microsoft Azure Sentinel
, the cloud-native Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution that identifies security threats across the entire hybrid enterprise. We introduced both consulting and managed security services for Azure Sentinel shortly after it was released last year, and many of our clients have taken advantage of these services to modernize their security operations.
Now, thanks in large part to our Azure Sentinel expertise and our recognition as the 2020 Azure Security Deployment Partner of the Year, Insight has become one of the first managed security service providers to be invited to join the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA).
MISA began two years ago as an ecosystem of independent software vendors that integrated their security products with Microsoft’s to help organizations better combat security threats. With more than 100 member ISVs and 150 integrations to date, Microsoft is now expanding the ecosystem by adding select MSSPs to help organizations further simplify and strengthen their security posture.
For Insight, this is not only the latest chapter in a decades-long Microsoft relationship but also a compelling opportunity to advance our clients’ ability to defend themselves against an increasingly challenging threatscape.
We already offer robust security services, including 24/7/365 managed security that relieves IT teams of day-to-day monitoring and threat response. Through our participation in MISA, we will be collaborating with the world’s top cybersecurity software vendors to help enterprises protect their sensitive data, employee identities, applications, infrastructure and endpoints.
As the saying goes, there is strength in numbers. Together, we will take risk mitigation to the next level.
